The Twist
Triana couldn’t get her mind off of it; she was trying to come up with an excuse to skip the party. At that time, her grandmother came in to deliver the creme caramel pudding that she had made for her. Triana loved the pudding the most. She usually gets excited to eat that pudding, but she never felt delighted when she looked at it. Her grandmother wondered what had happened to this girl. She appeared to be lost, so her grandma tried to talk to her and use every tactic to try to cheer her up. Last but not least, her grandma asked whether she could go with her to Aunt Jane’s party tomorrow. Her grandmother’s closest friend, Aunt Jane, resides in a neighbouring city. She thought right away that the fact that they had to travel would be the perfect excuse for her to skip the party.Because Aunt Jane enjoys her grandmother’s company so much, she will demand that they stay for a day or two. Triana’s face changed as soon as she started to listen to her grandmother. Therefore, she agreed with her grandmother. Triana left a voicemail for Mona explaining the situation, apologising for missing the party, and requesting that Mona give Peter her regards as well. She knew Peter’s party was in the evening, so Triana went with her grandparents in the morning.
Triana’s mind was incredibly disturbed, and she was depressed while she traveled with her grandparents. Triana was bored with whatever activities were going on at the party at Aunt Jane’s place. The party wasn’t appropriate for her age group because it was full of elderly people who had their own concepts of a gala time. She only made use of the chance to escape Peter’s party. Within a week’s time, she had grown to adore Peter, whom she missed. She was aware that it was Peter’s stag night and that he would be occupied with his friends and fiance, but she couldn’t help but wonder if he would look for her there.
She was wondering and thinking about it constantly, but at some point she decided she needed a diversion, so she went to the garden close to Jane’s house. There, she could see mist irrigation, which truly fascinated her. Although she has heard of it, this is the first time she has actually looked for it. Her mental state was kept very calm by her surroundings. After that evening, Aunt Jane set up a lovely breakfast in her garden the following morning. It was the ideal way to set up a French breakfast, complete with French scrambled eggs, some donuts, lots of croissants, and buckwheat crepes. As a finishing touch, she also kept Triana’s favorite French hot chocolate. Triana was amazed to have such a breakfast, and she wanted to thank Aunt Jane for it, so she walked up to the room where they were staying, took two full bottles of her own rose jam, and gave them to Aunt Jane. Every time they traveled, they used to carry some jam bottles to give to their friends and family. Triana’s grandmother was pleased as she observed Triana’s reaction.
Similarly, two days went by before they finally made it back to their house. Triana hurried to view her rose garden as soon as they arrived because they had installed automatic sprinklers that would water it at the set time. She went to make sure that all of her plants were being watered. She unpacked everything later, after going to her room. She wondered what would have happened at the party. Triana was a little disappointed that her friend Mona had never called to check on her. She slowly resumed her everyday activities. She had to finish some work accomplished in the garden storehouse before attempting to organize her belongings in the wardrobe. She was organising in her room when she heard her grandmother chatting to someone in the living room, so she opened the door and peered outside. She saw Mona seated and talking with her grandmother downstairs. Triana considered addressing her right away but instead sat in her room for a while to consider how to handle the situation. Triana was unsure of how to react if Mona described the party and how much fun they had with the pair.
Triana is aware that learning about the party will make her uncomfortable, yet she can’t help but inquire. She sat in her room for some time before deciding to meet Mona downstairs. She surprised herself by spotting Peter seated on the other couch as she slowly descended the stairs. Triana observed Peter in the same way he looked at her. Upon seeing Triana, Mona stood up and gave her a hug. Triana felt that Mona was upset for some reason due to the way Mona held her. She handled the situation since she was unable to inquire about “what happened” in front of everyone. Even Peter was disturbed, as she could see.Mona asked Triana if they could go sit by the rose canopy. “Sure, let’s go,” Triana said. Peter soon joined them as well. Triana genuinely disliked looking at Peter, and we all knew why. Her grandmother said, “I will bring you guys some tea,” and she went to the kitchen as they were leaving. Mona’s voice became more monotonous as they moved closer to the garden. Triana knew something was amiss; at first, she assumed Peter had come to drop Mona and was about to leave, but when the two friends walked towards the canopy, Triana noticed Peter following them.
How was your trip to Aunt Jane’s place? Mona asked as they came nearer the canopy. Was it fun?, Triana praised it and detailed how Aunt Jane’s breakfast table was set. By the time Triana observed Peter wandering around the rose garden alone, looking absolutely bewildered, while she and Mona were both chatting about the delicacies that Aunt Jane had served for them. Triana slowly asked Mona about the party as Peter went for a walk. Did you guys have enough fun in the party?.
Mona started to talk more at that point and revealed that the party had never happened. We were all suited up and heading to the hilltop restaurant. At that point, Caitlin called Peter and suggested that they call off the wedding. Peter was stunned. He tried to convince her and learn what had happened, but she simply hung up the phone. Her phone was off when Peter tried to contact her back. Mona said, “I was unable to convince my brother,” as Peter became very unhappy.
Peter wanted to visit Caitlin right away, but Caitlin’s close friend told him it was pointless because she was just like that. She has already done this to a lot of guys, and when it comes to relationships, she is not loyal. Peter was, however, entirely broken after hearing this. He claimed he wanted some alone time and moved entirely into his apartment. Peter told me that he would drop me off when I stated that I was coming to meet you.
Mona added I get the impression from the way he moves in the rose garden that he is attempting to veer away from that destructive connection. Triana felt terrible for Peter after hearing all of this. Triana’s convincing answers made Mona feel at ease. When Triana’s grandma arrived with tea, she invited Peter to join them for tea. Triana stood up and made tea for all of them. This time Triana stared directly at Peter without showing any shyness and spoke, “Any time you are welcome to visit the garden, for a walk.” Sure, “I will; thank you,” Peter responded. Peter and Mona eventually left. This time, Triana wanted to give Peter the miniature rose sapling he requested during their initial meeting, but she felt that the time was not appropriate. She went back to her room and proceeded to organize her wardrobe. She knew the moment Triana saw Peter’s heartbreaking face, she completely gave herself over to him. This time, she was certain that she was in love with him. She had a great time that evening cooking dinner with her grandparents. After Mona stopped by, Triana was overjoyed, so her grandma had thoughts about what had happened to her. “Silly girls with thick friendships,” her granny mumbled.
When Triana went to sleep, she began to plan how she would welcome Peter the following day. She was confident he would visit her garden tomorrow. As usual, that evening went by. In the morning, Rose Essence woke Triana up, followed by the sound of birds chirping. When she got out of bed and saw the mirror, she noticed her skin tone and pigmentation and realized she hadn’t been taking care of herself in a while. She then thought of putting on a face mask right away.
She pulled out a drawer filled with handmade items that she had made, from toner to perfume. She decided to put on a clay face mask, leave for 20 minutes, and go downstairs so she could have some coffee with her grandmother. By the time the doorbell rang, she had forgotten she was wearing a mask, and she immediately went to open the door. Right, as we may have guessed, Peter was there. He smiled softly as he observed her face.
Although she was thrilled, Triana made him sit down with a casual welcome. She quickly brought him some coffee. As he sipped the coffee, Peter said, “It’s a good coffee.” “My grandmother makes really amazing coffee,” Triana added. “Can we go for a walk?” he asked. She replied, “Yes, of course.” By the time her grandma overheard them and instructed, “Triana, first wash your face and then go on,” It was only then that she became aware of her face pack. She was in a really embarrassing situation, but she pulled through and soon joined him in walking.
They talked endlessly about roses as they were walking. As they went in and around the garden, they completely lost track of the passing of time because they both felt that they had fantastic chemistry. They eventually arrived at the spot where they began to walk. They circled the garden numerous times without their knowledge. Finally, Peter asked, “Are you free tonight?” as he prepared to leave. Triana wanted to say yes, but she had a number of excuses before she was able to agree.Peter said “Mona will be at the apartment tonight”, so why don’t you come along? . “Okay,” Triana responded. ‘I’ll be cooking dinner for you guys tonight”, Peter said as he walked away, happy.
Triana decided to go to Peter’s flat with Mona after getting permission from the grandparents. Peter welcomed them, along with a few of his friends, as soon as they walked in. Mona was pleased to see her brother in such a positive light as she observed Peter’s reaction and his broad smile. They soon sat down to supper together, supporting one another. There was not enough cutlery because it was Peter’s new flat, so they had to wait for the preparations.By the time Peter approached Triana in silence and requested that she follow him, she was apprehensive at first, but she had to do so when he insisted. Peter led her to his bedroom, which was connected to a lovely balcony. As soon as she entered the bedroom,he immediately took her hand and led her to his balcony, which had large screens. He quickly pulled the curtain and slid open the glass door, revealing a rose plant that had been artfully set up on a round wooden table.
The roses were a delicate pink shade. When Triana first saw the rose plant, she assumed Peter had acquired it in an effort to impress her. As a result, she said, “Looking at the plant, it’s beautiful.” However, she was still aware of Peter’s uneasy gaze, which implies that he is anticipating something from her. She felt helpless in that scenario and had no choice but to stare at the plant. However, at that point, she noticed the pot, which was made of white ceramic and had a square shape. She was aware that the pot belonged to her rose garden, which she created especially for her clients.
She recalled the sapling that she had planted for Peter. Now that she saw why Peter was staring at her, she was surprised and asked him if this rose plant was from my garden because the rose plant was missing from her porch table. As Triana reacted, Peter calmed her down by saying, “Sorry, I didn’t have the opportunity to say thanks because this was given to me by your grandma when I came to pick you up for your birthday party at the trade fair.” Looking into his eyes, Triana then remarked, “I potted this sapling especially for you.”
And now it is in a perfect spot. It looks nice on your balcony. Peter said, “When the rose started blooming, I could get the scent out of it, and it was very calming, especially on my bad days.” Triana continued, looking into his eyes, “Roses really do take their time to bloom, just as important decisions in life should be made without haste.” Triana’s diplomatic suggestion made sense to Peter and reflected the maturity of the young woman.
The moment Mona entered and said that it was time for dinner, everyone went to the dining area. Mona was pleased to see Peter and Triana striding into the eating area while holding hands. She felt very happy for both her best friend and her brother, as she could easily foresee how the relationship would grow over time.
