Hit By The Storm Of Love
Triana looked at Peter’s face and grew a little uneasy as he continued to drive. Triana’s nervousness was evident from the way she acted. Peter didn’t go hoping to convince her; instead, his car exceeded the speed limit by a whole 100 km/h. He shouldn’t have driven that quickly, but we’ll find out later why he did. Triana never travelled more than 30 km per hour. As the speed picked up quickly, she gripped the seat tightly. She wished for a quick stop for the car. So, just as she was ready to say it, the car halted nearer to the mountain’s base.
By the time they arrived, it was already dark. Triana saw Peter and quickly gasped for breath. She was clearly unsure of where she was from based on the way she was looking at him. “Don’t worry, you’re safe here,” Peter said quietly. Can you just get out of the car now? As he opened the car door for her, he said these words. She felt quite dubious about what was happening and was hesitant to leave. She had never been there before; it resembled a barn and had a few faint lights scattered about. She asked, “Why did you take me here?” this time, which she did with great bravery. My grandparents will be worried about me. I need to go home, she said.. She grabbed the umbrella tightly. She was so enraged that she retained it as a weapon for when she needed to defend herself. Peter gently asked again, Can you get out? She felt irate since Peter was not responding to any of her questions, and she really wanted to smack him with the umbrella. Despite the fact that she was sitting in Peter’s car, she never got out.She opened her handbag instead and said, “I’m going to call Mona.”She picked up the phone right away, but she could see that there was no signal because she was at the mountain’s base.
Triana was reluctant to leave, so Peter remained still for a while, watching her. It’s getting late, believe me, and get out of the car, he added while actually grinning. He also used a forceful tone. Triana, who found this a little unsettling, stepped cautiously out of the car with her belongings. Then Peter said, “Walk straight.” Triana walked very slowly as she observed what was around her.The entire space was gloomy, and she could smell earthy scents like hay and feed, as well as certain fragrances with undertones of pine and other trees. She was recalling the night they had been wandering in her rose garden, but today they were in a dark, uncharted area. She could easily see cows and cattle as they moved along the walkway. It was probably a barn or a cowshed. Triana asked Peter, “Why did you bring me here?” as she turned to face him. She was on the verge of tears.
By then, she could see that the entire area was lit because all of the lights had been turned on. There were people gathered, and a string of lights was hanging, in combination with some balloons. There were numerous rose decorations, creating a party mood. She saw her grandpa and grandmother walking in, holding a cake with lit candles. Mona came in front of her and wished “Happy Birthday, Rose Fairy”,Triana used to be called Rose Fairy by Mona. The table, which had been set up in the centre of the barn, had been surrounded by Mona’s cousins. Triana was able to make connections and put things together at this point. Triana remembered her birthday, but over the years it had always been quite informal, with just a cake-cutting ceremony inside the house or perhaps outside under the rose canopy. Indeed, this year was her 18th birthday, but based on how her grandmother acted in the morning, she believed they had entirely forgotten. She had been anticipating Mona’s wish for the entire day, but even she had been busy with her cousins. Triana was a bit upset because she had no one with whom to discuss her feelings, and the fact that she had her birthday at the fair and was working hard to sell her jam made her more frustrated. But now that the party arrangements were made, she was deeply moved. She clearly understands that they took all of these actions in an effort to completely surprise her.Her grandmother asked her to make a wish and blow out the candles. The planning was done by Mona and Triana’s grandmother, and everything went smoothly during the ceremony. Triana regularly receives small gifts from her grandparents, but this time Mona and her cousins showered her with an abundance of presents.
Each gift was opened right away; she received books about roses, girlie trinkets, and other things. The birthday cake that Mona cooked for her beloved friend turned out to be her gift. She cooked Triana’s favorite chocolate cake with it. Additionally, Mona planned a wonderful dinner for everyone who came to the gathering. Triana distributed the cake after cutting it, and she thought about her response when Peter brought her to the barn. She felt humiliated, and she thought it was nice that “I didn’t whack him up with an umbrella”. She looked for Peter to give him the cake as it was being distributed. She observed him setting up a fire pit outside the barn. and can see some wooden chairs arranged around the fire pit. She approached Peter with the cake because she wanted to express her gratitude to him for picking her up and her regret over how she had behaved towards him when he had taken her to the barn.
As Triana approached him with all of these thoughts, Peter was called by one of his cousins, and so he stepped away from the fireplace. She then sat by herself with the cake close to the fire pit. She was sitting and gazing at the stars in the night sky. Mona joined her and took a seat. She asked, “How was the surprise?” “Did you like it? As you are aware, Triana said “This was the first time I had a surprise birthday celebration that was hosted outdoors”.Since Mona was aware of all of this, she wanted to do everything in her power to make her friend Triana’s 18th birthday memorable. Triana’s response of “thank you, girl,” “it was a real surprise for me, made Mona happy, and she hugged Triana. They both sat on the chair in a very casual manner. After splitting Peter’s cake, they both got to eating. As they sat around the fire pit, they began to discuss the enjoyable activities they would partake in. Triana was happy to hear all of this, but she couldn’t stop thinking about Caitlin and the phone call. She wanted to question Mona about Caitlin but held back out of concern that Mona might tell Peter about it and that if she did, she might taunt her by asking whether she heard what Peter was saying on the phone. Thus, she never inquired about that with Mona. Triana’s grandparents departed the property as it became later, leaving Triana there to enjoy the party and have some fun.
The crowd eventually gathered around the fire pit and enjoyed themselves immensely. The gathering featured a variety of activities and fun events. Triana and Peter occasionally had their eyes locked on one another. When everyone was finally set to end the celebration, one of his cousins kindly reminded everyone to come together for Peter’s party at a hilltop restaurant the day after tomorrow. Triana found the information to be extremely vague. She turned her attention to Peter when he invited everyone to join him in his happiness. At that moment, Peter asked Mona, “Will your friend be available on that day?” “Don’t worry, Peter; I’ll bring her along with me,” Mona said. Triana was quite curious about what was going on since, as she and Mona were making their way to the car, she could see their cousins hugging, hoping, and wishing Peter from far away. Triana’s thoughts began to link Caitlin, Peter, the party, etc.So She inquired “what party is that?” as she turned to face Mona.Mona was about to respond when Peter arrived and said, “OK girls get in the car.”Triana was safely dropped off at her house by Peter and Mona.At that moment, Peter invited Triana to the party once again and informed her that Mona would pick her up and drop her off at home. Triana nodded her head slowly. Triana recalled the rose sapling as Mona and Peter left the doorway. She hurried to the table to give it to Peter, but she couldn’t find the sapling, and at the same time, she could see their heads disappearing down the road. She couldn’t ask her grandmother about the rose seedling because it was late at night. Triana was carrying a bag full of gifts and her personal belongings. She was also exhausted after the fair and the party, so she went directly to bed.
She felt a little upset as she was lying down, wondering what party it was. She made the decision to definitely question Mona about it the next day. She tried going both ways, but she was unable to sleep. Her thoughts were constantly straying. She began to ask herself, “Why am I thinking about Peter so much? Who is he to me? Am I gradually falling in love with him?” She made an effort to come up with an answer. Triana is brave in her heart and in her decisions, even though she was used to being apprehensive. She made the decision to ask Mona about the party and Caitlin the next morning. As a result, she went to Mona’s home. Mona’s dad was reading a daily journal while seated in the corner of the living room. As soon as he saw Triana, he asked her to enter and take a seat while he called for Mona. Soon after, Mona came down the stairs and led Triana to her room. I had not expected you to show up, Mona said, adding that it was good to spend time with you when you were in my room.Soon after, Mona opened her vanity and showed the makeup kit she had just purchased. Triana sat still as usual, only exchanging pleasantries. Triana, who couldn’t wait any longer, said, “Peter asked for a rose sapling. Just let him know that I’ll bring it to his party.” Oh, okay, I’ll tell him, Mona said. Triana decided that this was the perfect opportunity to ask, so she asked, “What party is that?” right away. “I was about to tell you about that; it was a sort of stag party,” Mona remarked. “Is Peter getting married?” Triana inquired next. Triana was anxious, but she pretended not to care because even a small shift in her expression would alert Mona. because she had a keen sense of her emotions.”Yes, finally he’s getting married,” Mona replied. He has found his own flat and might be required to grow a rose sapling there. For a brief moment, Triana felt as though all of her happiness had been buried. Then she asked, “What is his fiance’s name?” It’s Caitlin, Mona replied.
She was really upset, as Triana had already guessed from Peter’s conversation in the car. Mona displayed the gowns she will be wearing to the party. Triana said slowly, “I have some customers coming today, so let me go home. Bye, Mona.” Can I come and drop you off? Mona asked. Triana replied, saying, “No, I’ll go on,” and then she left. She was unable to control the tears that were streaming down her face as she made her way home. She really has no explanation for how Peter changed her life in such a short period of time. Why am I crying? she wondered while thinking about someone who doesn’t even give me any attention or even know how I feel. When she got home, she hurried right into her room and slammed the door. She made the choice to skip tomorrow’s party. She decided that she ought to have a compelling excuse for skipping it. Dejectedly, she sat in the window seat and observed her rose garden. So, will she go to the party? …..
