The Beautiful- part 2

Who could that be?

Triana awoke slightly later than usual the following morning due to pain, but after the fair, she slept comfortably anyway. Upon rising, she looked out the window and noticed the chirping of many green finches as they fed the rose hips. The rose seedling that Peter had requested came to her mind, right away She rushed from the bed in her pajama’s and headed straight for the garden storage shed. She has a practice of giving plants to anyone who asks for them. She sometimes sends the young plants as gifts. She, in turn, has supplies like different-shaped vases, gift-wrapping paper, etc. This time, she potted the rose sapling within a lovely square ceramic vase that was white in hue. She went with a soft pink rose.. She considered wrapping a bow around it, but decided that would be too much. Instead, she finished her potting and brought the vase outside, setting it on the porch table. She then entered the house to eat breakfast.

She dressed well because she expected Mona and Peter. She put on her favourite lipstick shade and used minimal makeup. It was the final day of the fair when her grandmother asked if she was ready to go to the fair. Your grandfather is waiting outside and is ready to drop you off, said her grandmother. Triana was unable to delay, so she packed up everything she needed and prepared to leave. As she made her way to the door, her grandma said she saw Mona’s father walking and heard him say that Mona was going on a picnic with her brother and cousins. She won’t be available in the stall as a result. One of their staff members will look after their stall today. Triana was unhappy after hearing this; we can all guess why. She slowly turned around as she neared the minitruck to board it and saw the rose seedling she had been keeping on the table. She came and watered the sapling before getting inside her vehicle. As it was the last day of the fair, there were more people, and Triana’s jam was in great demand, so she was busy, yet feeling very upset that Mona wasn’t there. Every time she took a break, her bruised knee and the pain it caused kept reminding Peter. When the crowd thinned out, her grandfather left the fair, promising to pick her up that evening. When Triana was by herself, she wondered why Mona had not told her about the trip.

Triana began to wind up everything as it started to become dark while hobbling one of her legs. She was carrying empty crates because the jam bottles have all been sold this time. She was recalling how Peter had assisted her in stacking her belongings at the same time yesterday. Suddenly, a voice asked, “Can we go?” When she quickly turned around, She spotted Peter leaning on the pole while standing with one leg crossed over the other. He was dressed in skinny black jeans and a basic black t-shirt. Even though Triana was delighted to see him, she refrained from reacting right away and instead turned to check behind him for Mona. Mona sent me to fetch you up because, as Peter stated, she was busy with her cousins. Don’t worry, Triana; we’ve let your grandfather know that I’m picking you up, he said. Triana was hesitant to travel with Peter alone, but she managed. She slowly walked towards the car and began to plan for a seat in the back when Peter said, “I’ll be more comfortable if you sit front. “Triana looked at Peter as she made her way to the front door. Peter was quick to open the door for her. Triana was experiencing all of this for the first time, so it was a novel emotion for her. In addition to her handbag, Triana was also holding an umbrella.

Peter started the chat with Triana as he began to drive his car gently. Peter asked, “Why do you carry an umbrella? adding that he didn’t expect it to rain today”. Triana slowly said that it was my grandfather’s, who had left it during one of his visits. Since it was the last day of the fair, I had to carry all the items left behind. Then Peter inquired, “How is your leg? Is it alright?” .Triana was dressed in a long floral pleated skirt, a tight crop top, and simple strappy sandals. She has excellent fashion sense. Triana slowly reacted, saying, “It’s fine; I’m ok,” as he focused her with his entire attention. Is it usually this way that you take your time to respond? Peter asked. Triana replied, “No, it’s not like this, but I don’t know why it’s happening with you. Peter gave her a smile. Triana grinned softly as well and turned to face the roadway. Peter went on, “I would like to play some music, but the car stereo is not working.” You are so left with no choice but to pay attention to me, and he gave a casual smile. Triana merely smiled in response, not really reacting much. Peter received a call at that moment, picked it up right away, and then asked, “Hey, Caitlin, how are you doing? had been waiting for your call.” Triana was attentively listening to the discussion, even though she was glancing out the window. Since it was so pertinent and he was speaking to a girl, she was interested in what he was saying. She was worried ” who  could that be” he was speaking to. Since they were going to meet, the call included discussion about the date, time, and so on. Peter concluded the call by wishing her a safe flight and saying, “Waiting to see you.” Peter’s words struck a deep chord with Triana, who swiftly turned to look at him and inquire, “Who was that?” Even though he was focused on driving, Peter immediately turned to look at her after she turned. When he asked “what happened,” Triana wasn’t bold enough to answer, so she just nodded and went back to her original posture without saying or inquiring. They soon arrived at Triana’s home, but Peter never pulled over; instead, the car took off. Then, where is Peter taking her? ….
